Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Black Harbour Group LLC, trading as BH Rentals, handles personal information collected through this website. It covers these pages and the estimate form.
It does not cover any separate agreement you sign for property services work, nor third-party websites that this site links to. Those are governed by their own terms.
02
Information you give us directly
When you complete the estimate form or contact us by phone or email, you choose what to share. That usually includes:
Your name and the best way to reach you — phone number, email address, or both.
The address or general location of the property you want work on.
A description of the unit turn: the services you are interested in and anything you have noticed in the unit.
Any scheduling preferences or constraints you mention.
Photographs of the unit, if you choose to send them.
03
Information collected automatically
A live deployment of this website is served by a hosting provider that records standard technical information as part of delivering pages — IP address, browser type and version, the pages requested, and the time of the request. This is ordinary server logging and is used to keep the site available and secure.
This site is hosted by Framer. Framer records standard technical logs (IP, browser, pages requested, time) to deliver the site. See framer.com/legal. Form submissions are used only to respond to your enquiry.
04
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not set analytics, advertising, or profiling cookies.
05
How we use your information
To respond to your enquiry and answer questions about a possible project.
To arrange a walkthrough and prepare a scope and price for your unit.
To plan, schedule, and carry out work you have agreed to.
To keep records of estimates, agreements, and completed projects.
To meet accounting, tax, and other legal obligations.
To handle a complaint or dispute if one arises.
06
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share your details with unrelated companies for their own marketing.
We do not add you to a marketing mailing list on the basis of an estimate enquiry alone.
We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
08
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as needed to follow up, then deleted. Records connected to a unit turn we coordinated are kept longer where tax and legal obligations require it.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept up to 12 months, then deleted. Records tied to completed turns or signed agreements are kept as needed for tax and legal purposes (typically up to 7 years).
09
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to those who need it. No website or storage system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send sensitive personal information — payment card details, government identifiers, or health information — through a general project enquiry.
10
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to or restrict certain uses. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
To make a request, use the contact details at the end of this page. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
You can request a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion where we are not required to keep it. Email office@blackharbourco.com — we respond within 30 days.
11
Children
This website is intended for property owners and managers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
12
Links to other websites
Where this site links to another organisation — a supplier, a review platform, or a social network — that organisation controls its own site and handles your information under its own policy. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to read their notices.
